MYKONOS – THE ISLAND YOU JUST HAVE TO VISIT!

The Coronavirus nightmare will eventually fade away and life will carry on from the point it had been ‘paused’, by this strange and deadly pandemic.

Straight after the isolation restrictions, people will have a great urge to travel, to explore other countries, visit friends and family and do all that he had been deprived of while in quarantine.

Places you’ve just dreamed of traveling to,  can now become a reality – and who has not dreamed of visiting … Mykonos?

MYKONOS – who has not heard of this cosmopolitan island of the Cyclades, with its amazing beaches, nightlife, hotels, unique boutiques and the bluest of blue seas?

Who is driven to visit Mykonos and why?

 

Hollywood stars, royals, famous athletes, fashion designers and the list goes on. 

 

People go to Mykonos to see and be seen, to experience Greek hospitality and a beauty so unique … it stays with you for a lifetime.

 

How do I get there?

You can Fly or Sail to Mykonos.

Where do I stay?

The hotels and resorts on the island are fit for a king.

However, if you are looking for something simple and nice, there are many lovely rooms to let.

Book well in advance though as it can get pretty busy during the summer months.

 

Which beaches should you not miss:

Ornos , Psarou, Agios Stefanos, Platis Yialos, Kato Livadi, etc.

What you should try:

The local cheese spread –kopanisti- on slices of toasted bread with a glass of chilled white wine.

Fish is also plentiful; enjoy a meal right on the water at one of the many fish restaurants.

 What you just have to do:

  • Take a ferry from Mykonos to Delos – this is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed island.
  • Visit the windmills (Kato Milli)
  • Visit Little Venice
  • Party – party – party!
