About me

Hi there!

I’m Chrystall and I will be your travel companion, guide, advisor …

Together, we will travel to all parts of this amazing country.  I will guide you to all the beautiful sights, beaches, mountains, villages, etc.  We will go hiking and touring the whole country.  Have I whetted your appetite yet?

I hope so!

Get ready for the best vacation of your life!!!  I am so excited to be doing all this with you and I feel it is long overdue.

A few words about myself – for those who do not know me yet.

I am a Cypriot-born South African who has been living in Greece since 1981.  I have two adult children and two dogs.  My main occupation is teaching English and I absolutely adore working with children.

I took a break from teaching though in 1999 and worked as Guest Relations for the Marriott Hotel in Athens.  I was actually just filling in for a lady who had gone on maternity leave.  Well, I fell in love with my position.  I thrive on helping people and making sure that they are having a great time.

Every day was different – nothing boring about my job.  New arrivals, new querries, new issues … never a dull moment.  I met so many wonderful people while working at the Marriott.  I just knew that hospitality was my great love.  However, all good things come to an end and so did my job.

The recession hit Greece and unfortunately my position was gone!!!  I was devastated!  I did keep in touch with many of our wonderful guests and offered my assistance online.  I did it voluntarily – it wasn’t a job anymore.  It just made me feel good.

I got back to my teaching and my contact with children once again filled me with joy.  However, my love for hospitality still runs in my veins and that is the reason why I have chosen to create this blog; the place where you’ll find all you need, in order to experience Greece to the fullest.

Whatever your requirements may be, here is where you’ll find everything.

Join me on this amazing trip to the country of the 12 gods of Mount Olympus!

I am thrilled and honoured to be your guide.

Feel free to contact me and let me know exactly what you’re looking for and I will make sure you get it.

Send me photos and feedback of places you visit.  Consider this blog as yours too – it’s an interactive platform where you can write about all your wonderful moments experienced in the country of countries!!!

Let’s all become a warm group of friends, sharing the love of this beautiful, blessed country.
